fsbackup

Script to backup system with powerful configuration. Runs under BSD only, tested under FreeBSD.

The script is based on Maxim Chirkov script.

This extended version has some improvements:

• Files with nodump flag are ignored.
• Directories with nodump flag are saved but without content.
• Full directories information is saved: flags, ACLs, extended attributes. But if you want to restore modify time and flags you need the patched tar.
• Most backup methods are deleted (if you count this as improvement).
• Some small bugs are fixed.

The script requires Perl and p5-BSD-stat ports to run.
